"Chocolates by Leopold is all about taste—the best tasting gourmet chocolates that you can find. Our chocolates are a mix of old-fashioned candy making and new approaches. Our chocolatier, Leopold Schreiber uses fourth generation, German recipes for handmade candy centers. He also uses the lost art of starch-casting creams in a cornstarch infused with mineral oil. So our candy centers are creamy and flavorful with less sugar and no fillers."

- Montrose Chocolate & Wine Festival
Montrose is a town steeped in tradition but also welcomes new ones that reflect the changing interests of her residents. A fast-evolving tradition is to gather on Chestnut Street in May to sample the offerings of regional wineries and chocolatiers. But there's more. In true Montrose style, this event is community based. The day's many activities showcase local muscians, artisans, and businesses and have included live entertainment, a quilt raffle, cooking contests, art shows, and a chocolate factory tour. Past proceeds were donated to the local library and hospital. Come see why we're proud to live here.
- Blueberry Festival
The annual Blueberry Festival is two days of summer fun for all ages! Held on the first Friday and Saturday in August since 1980, the Festival brings thousands of people to Montroseto enjoy blueberry everything, from ice cream to pies. It also includes the county's largest annual book sale. Proceeds benefit the Susquehanna County Historical Society & Free Library Association.
- Harford Fair
The Harford Fair is a fair held in Harford Township north of Scranton in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, the third full week in August. It is a traditional country fair that features amusement rides (including a Ferris wheel). It also includes livestock judging, chainsaw races, tractor pulls, draft horse and other animal shows, and two selected annual events, such as monster trucks.
- Artists' Open House Weekend
This multiday event is held over Columbus Day Weekend each October. It is a self-guided tour of local artists' studios throughout Susquehanna County, featuring wood-carving; unique wood-, gas-, & electric-fired ceramics; paintings in many media and styles; photography; sculpture; field stone walls; porcelain painting; contemporary wood furniture; prints; and many other artistic expressions. This is a great chance to observe art being created and chat with your local artists & crafts-people. Some of these studios are only open this one weekend of the year. Others will welcome you to return once you know the way.
