We've had llamas at the park since 2002, when Dennis Wilson moved here. With him came Gideon, Asher, Domingo, Meshak, and Shadrack. Drake joined the pack about a year ago.

Dennis leads llama hikes several times a year on some of Salt Springs Park's lesser known trails. These hikes provide a unique opportunity to enjoy the park and to learn more about these gentle pack animals. Groups of 10 or more can make special arrangements for private hikes.
