The Mushroom Foray is a popular program we run periodically. These pictures are
from summer 2005. The foray was led by mycologists David Fischer (left, holding
the mushroom) and Julie Dugan (also holding a mushroom).

This hiker was certainly pleased with his finding!

Perhaps this is a particularly rare finding ... worth laying in the creekbed for?

Mushrooms big and small, they collected them all.

After combining their findings, the group listened to the mycologists
identify and discuss the day's crop. After some of the forays,
Julie would cook up the edible mushrooms, much to everyone's delight.
