Pavilions

Williams Pavilion

The pavilion was built in summer 2014 by volunteers with materials donated by Williams Companies. More details and photos can be viewed here.

The pavilion is 24’ x 48’ and located just west of the back parking lot. It is available for day rental from 8:00 A.M. to dusk. It has eight picnic tables. The reservation fee is $50 per day or $40 for members of the Friends, payable in advance.

We plan to add electricity and grills in 2015.

The pavilion is perfect for family parties, picnics, and reunions.

Reservations

You can reserve the pavilion either by e-mail or by calling the park office at (570) 967-7275. When calling, please leave your name, phone number, and the date(s) you are interested in. Someone will get back to you shortly.

Once your date has been tentatively scheduled with us, you will need to pay for the reservation for it to be held. You can pay by credit card over the phone, or you can send a check, along with the Pavilion Reservation Form and deposit, if required, to the park.

Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received. Upon receipt of your check, you will be contacted and your reservation confirmed.

Refund Policy

Cancellations received one week in advance of the reservation date: refund provided minus a $10 cancellation fee for administrative costs. Cancellations received less than one week before the reservation date: no refund.

Deposit
For events attended by more than 50 people, we may require a $150 refundable deposit. This will be discussed when you inquire about a reservation. See page 2 of the Pavilion Reservation Form for information about this deposit.

Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received. Upon receipt of your check, you will be contacted and your reservation confirmed.

Parking

Parking space is very limited (that is, two or three cars). Parking on the grass along the lane is absolutely prohibited. Please instruct your guests to park in the public parking lots and walk to the pavilion. Those people not able to walk the distance can be dropped off and picked up at the pavilion.

Refund Policy

Cancellations received one week in advance of the reservation date: refund provided minus a $10 cancellation fee for administrative costs. Cancellations received less than one week before the reservation date: no refund.

Drinking Water

Drinking water is available outside at the Wheaton House; the faucet is located on the side facing the parking lot. Note that the water is "well water," with a sulfurous taste, and it is currently posted as nonpotable. Please bring your own drinking water.
