Scenes of Salt Springs Park

Some of our favorites.

The salt spring for which the park is named. It is one of several throughout the park, but this one was mined for salt in the early and middle 1800s. Although the quality of salt manufactured was high, the amount was insufficient to be a commercial success. Photograph by George Schreck.
